I am inspired to consume even more fruits and veggies after finishing Sheri's wonderful book, Add Life. Raising three boys, I could definitely use more energy! After reading portions of Add Life to my little athletes, they too have began to consume more raw foods and are drinking water rather than sports drinks. At first, I was afraid of not eating meat anymore since flavorful, home-cooked food has always been extremely important for our family. However, Sheri Yohe's book is helping me open my palate to the wonderful new tastes created with vegetables, grains and legumes. Her book makes eating well desirable and doable through practical suggestions on topics such as making the most of a small kitchen with comprehensive nutritional information.
